Auto warranty leads are sold by call centers in tiers, from exclusive real-time leads down to aged files and owner data.

Eleven of the 15 auto warranty companies in our directory run call centers or live transfers, nine sell aged leads and seven sell data or lists. A web lead here is priced against every one of those tiers.

In short

No market we track has a larger share of companies selling aged leads and data than auto warranty. Of the 15 companies in our directory, 13 offer exclusive leads and 12 real-time leads, but nine also sell aged leads, seven sell data or lists and five sell semi-exclusive leads shared with a capped number of buyers. Most of these companies sell across many verticals, and warranty is one menu item among several.

The sales floor sets the standard. Eleven companies describe themselves as call centers or live transfer shops, and most say an agent pre-qualifies or verifies the owner by phone before a transfer. One spells out the checks: the car's year, make, model and mileage, and whether the owner is interested in an extended warranty. Direct mail and email are the most named traffic sources, ahead of search and social.

Juiced handles the web lead side. Each buyer funds a wallet, sets filters and caps on state and your vehicle fields, and bids above your minimum so the highest bid wins the lead in seconds. Leads no buyer takes go to your own marketplace, where the price falls until someone buys. Juiced distributes web leads, so calls and transfers need separate call tracking.

What auto warranty lead companies sell

What the 15 companies in our auto warranty directory say they offer, read from their own websites.

ProductCompanies offering it
Exclusive leads13 of 15
Real-time leads12 of 15
Shared leads5 of 15
Aged leads9 of 15
Inbound calls7 of 15
Live transfers10 of 15
Booked appointments3 of 15
Data or lists7 of 15

Counts cover everything each company says it sells, which can include other verticals.

Exclusive and real-time leads top the table, but live transfers and aged leads each appear at over half of these companies and data at nearly half, and the share selling aged leads and data is the highest of any market we track. Buyers here are used to picking a tier, so define yours: exclusive to one buyer, semi-exclusive with a stated cap, or aged. Shared leads and appointments are less common.

What auto warranty leads are screened for

Auto warranty companies screen the car first and the owner's intent second, and most do the second part on the phone.

  • Vehicle details. A few companies capture year, make, model and mileage before selling, and one adds the purchase date.
  • Existing contract. One company asks whether the owner already has a warranty contract, and another frames its leads as drivers comparing protection and repair coverage.
  • Intent to talk. Most companies say an agent pre-qualifies or voice-verifies the owner before a transfer, and one checks that the owner is interested in an extended warranty and ready to buy now.
  • Filter match. A few companies promise every lead matches the buyer's agreed filters and replace the ones that miss, which makes the filter list the real product definition.
  • Recordings and logs. Several companies offer call logs or audio recordings so a buyer can hear the owner's interest, and one uses recordings and transcripts to decide whether a call is billable.

What an auto warranty lead has to carry

Eight of the 15 companies let buyers choose states, and one adds ZIP, radius, city and county. A few target calls by business hours or time zone, and a few filter on vehicle year, make, model and mileage.

Every lead type in Juiced starts with ten default fields. Add your own on top, and decide for each one whether it is required and whether the buyer receives it.

What you need to decide on a lead is not what you need to sell it

Every field carries four switches rather than one required flag.

Required for postMandatory when the lead is created: the full record you are selling.
Required for pingMandatory when checking which buyers want it. Usually a much shorter list.
DeliverableWhether the field is included in the data sent on to the buyer.
Hidden from API specKept off the public specification page.

Ping with state, vehicle_year, vehicle_make, vehicle_model and mileage. That is enough for a buyer to judge the car before bidding, without exposing the owner's contact details.

Who sells auto warranty leads, and how they price

Eleven of the 15 companies generate their own traffic, 11 run call centers or transfer floors and eight call themselves data or list providers. Five resell leads bought from others and three run networks or marketplaces. Several companies here are multi-vertical shops where warranty sits next to debt, mortgage and insurance, and one uses the auto label for transport leads sold to brokers.

Ten companies price per lead and nine quote custom pricing. Four price per sale, three per call, and one runs bidding at or above a minimum per service area. Direct mail is named by six companies and email by four, and a few add radio and TV, so many warranty sales floors are already paying for mailers that make owners call in. Your web lead competes with that phone volume for the same budget.

Exclusive, semi-exclusive and aged tiers

Thirteen companies offer exclusive leads, five semi-exclusive and five shared. The semi-exclusive tier usually comes with a stated cap on how many other buyers get the lead, and older leads are sold more widely: one company warns aged leads may already have been called by other businesses, and another sells matured files to a capped number of buyers.

The labels do not always hold up. One network sells leads as non-exclusive unless the order says otherwise and keeps the right to sell similar leads to others. Another says exclusive on its homepage but lists exclusivity as a paid add-on on its pricing page. Read the agreement, not the homepage, and write the number of buyers per lead into yours.

In Juiced each exclusive lead goes to the highest bidder in seconds, and leads nobody takes go to your own marketplace, where the price falls until someone buys with Buy Now or a standing Buy Order. That gives the aged tier an outlet without running a separate list business.

What buyers are asked to commit, and what happens to bad leads

Most companies start a buyer with a call, a quote form or a paperwork packet, and three offer self-serve signup. A few run a pilot or test batch, a few sell fixed-quantity packs, and one sells only prepaid call credits with a floor price per service area. Four say buyers fund an account up front and five say there is no long-term contract.

Return terms range from nothing to a full list. One company's terms say no returns or refunds and let unused credits expire. One network credits duplicates, wrong geography or vertical, disconnected numbers, invalid emails, fraud and leads outside the order's filters, and refuses no answer, not interested and leads already in the buyer's database. A call marketplace takes credit requests only after the buyer reviews the recording, inside a set window.

Write your list before the first lead and walk each buyer through it on the first call. In Juiced approved returns are credited back to the buyer's wallet.

Four companies name TrustedForm or Jornaya, one builds one-to-one consent landing pages, and one says it gets verbal consent before a transfer. Three say they scrub against do-not-call or litigator lists, while two put do-not-call scrubbing on the buyer in their terms. Several company sites here show placeholder figures, inconsistent claims or terms pages that do not load, so experienced buyers ask for specifics.

Five companies buy from publishers, affiliates or other generators. A few ban incentivized traffic, one approves every creative, and one network does not pay for rejected or returned leads and offsets credits against later payouts. A call marketplace pays per qualified call, with what counts as qualified defined before the campaign starts. Keep consent_certificate_url and source_sub_id on every lead so you can answer both buyers and publishers. The rules themselves are published by the FCC and FTC.

How Juiced runs an auto warranty lead business

  1. Buyers fund a wallet

Each buyer adds funds before leads arrive and is charged as each lead is delivered. Approved returns are credited back to the wallet. No invoices to send and no payments to chase.

  2. Buyers set filters and caps, then bid

Each buyer filters on your fields and caps how many leads they take. They bid above your minimum, and the highest bid wins the lead in seconds.

  3. Delivery goes where the buyer works

By webhook into the buyer’s CRM, by email or by text.

  4. Unsold leads go to your marketplace

A lead no buyer takes is not dropped. It goes to your own marketplace, where its price falls until someone buys it outright or a standing buy order picks it up.

Frequently asked

Should I sell auto warranty leads exclusive or semi-exclusive?

Start exclusive, which 13 of the 15 companies in our directory offer. Five also sell semi-exclusive leads with a cap on buyers, so add that tier once you know demand and write the number of buyers per lead into the agreement.

What vehicle details should each lead carry?

Year, make, model and mileage. A few companies capture them before selling, and a few let buyers filter on them. One company also asks for the purchase date and whether the owner already has a warranty contract.

Why do so many auto warranty companies sell aged leads and data?

Most run call centers that dial in volume. Nine of the 15 sell aged leads and seven sell data or lists, so buyers expect a cheaper tier below fresh leads, and your unsold leads have somewhere to go.

What do auto warranty buyers ask before they start?

Their own FAQs answer the same questions: the minimum order, whether leads are exclusive, whether they can filter by ZIP or set a daily number, how leads are delivered, the return policy and what closing rate to expect. Have an answer for each before the first call, and do not promise a closing rate.

What gets an auto warranty lead credited?

Usually duplicates, disconnected numbers, invalid emails, fraud and leads outside the agreed filters. No answer and not interested are usually excluded, and one company accepts no returns at all. Agree your own list before the first lead.

Who handles do-not-call scrubbing?

It depends on the agreement. Three companies here say they scrub, and two put scrubbing on the buyer in their terms. Spell it out in yours. The rules are published by the FCC and FTC.

What do auto warranty leads sell for?

No prices are published here. Sellers rarely publish them, and what an auto warranty lead sells for depends on whether it is exclusive or shared, a web lead or a call, the geography, how fresh it is and how many buyers want it. The pay-per-lead pricing guide shows how to work out your own floor from cost and let buyers bid above it.

Does Juiced handle auto warranty calls or live transfers?

No. Juiced distributes web leads and delivers them by webhook, email or text. It does not track or route phone calls, so if calls are part of your product you need call tracking software for that side.
